      <title>Ubuntu catching up with SLED</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In a previous &lt;a href="http://jroller.com/page/balaria?entry=ubuntu_6_06_lts_vs"&gt;blog post&lt;/a&gt; I had stated that SLED had some edge over Ubuntu. As I continue to update my Ubuntu install it seems to be getting better. Here are some things that have improved over last few weeks:&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Compiz update: There was a recent compiz update that makes 3D effects way faster.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;&lt;span class="caps"&gt;SLAB&lt;/span&gt; for Ubuntu: &lt;span class="caps"&gt;SLAB&lt;/span&gt; can be installed for Ubuntu and works as well as any other distro.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
